In 2001 David Allen published the New York Times best selling book 'Getting Things Done' - since that time GTD® has grown into a global productivity movement that's more than 2 million people strong, attracting some of the best, brightest, and busiest people on the planet. David always had the dream of bringing this vast community together.

  1. What is GTD®?

    In 2001 David Allen published the NY Times best selling book Getting Things Done, "The Art of Stress-Free Productivity. GTD®, or Getting Things Done, is recognised as the golden standard in management and personal productivity to help you achieve and maintain a calm, focused control of everything in your life. Since that time, GTD® has grown into a global productivity movement that's more than 2 million people strong, attracting some of the best, brightest, and busiest people on the planet.

  2. What is the GTD® Summit?

    The GTD® Summit (The 'Getting Things Done' Summit) is two day gathering of 1500 of the most productive, effective and inspirational people on the planet. Best selling author David Allen has opened his rolodex and invited the people that inspired and helped him form, shape and distribute his body of work. They all said yes! The summit aims to foster diverse discussions and debates surrounding the strategic value of clear space, productivity and shifting the focus on projects - not problems.

  3. Why does my ticket include VAT?

    Article 53 & 54 of the EU VAT Directive include a specific guideline for (international) events, stating VAT must be charged in the country where the actual event takes place. This is different to what you’ll generally be used to in doing business within the EU.


    Business to customers (B2C) services relating to cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, educational, entertainment and similar activities will be taxed at the place where those activities actually take place [Article 54].


    Business to business (B2B) services in respect of admission to cultural, artistic, scientific, educational, entertainment and similar events will be taxed at the place where those events actually take place [Article 53].

  4. What is your ticket cancellation policy?

    You can request a full refund on your ticket up until April 1, 2019. You'll always be able to change the name on your ticket to that of a colleague or friend up until the day of the GTD Summit. Refunds need to be requested via the Eventbrite ticketing platform. If you have a valid (medical) emergency that prevents you from attending after April 1, please request a refund and we'll process on a case-by-case basis.

  5. Do you have any volunteer positions?

    Unfortunately all volunteer positions have been assigned!

  6. Who will be attending the GTD® Summit?

    The GTD® Summit is for anyone that's interested in improving their own path to a clear mind, regardless of whether you consider yourself a GTD® enthusiast or you have yet to pick up a copy of the book.


    The people who have been most attracted to David Allen’s work and the GTD® methodology over the years, are often the people who need it the least! They are already, by all accounts, some of the most productive, pro-active and energetic people you would ever meet. Curiously, it's their own productivity and creativity that have put them up against their own internal limitations of cognitive space. They have a driving sense that they could do even more, even better, if they had more room.

  9. What are the dates and times for the GTD® Summit?

    The GTD® Summit will take place on June 20-21, 2019 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We open the doors for registration at 08.30 o’clock. The official Summit program starts at 10.00 and finishes at 18.00 o'clock (on Thursday and Friday). On Wednesday (19th of June) - Thursday (20th of June) and Friday (21st of June) you can expect various side-events around the city. These will be announced in March & April.
