About the summit

In 2001 David Allen published the New York Times best selling book 'Getting Things Done' - since that time GTD® has grown into a global productivity movement that's more than 2 million people strong, attracting some of the best, brightest, and busiest people on the planet. David always had the dream of bringing this vast community together.

The GTD® Summit (The 'Getting Things Done' Summit) is the embodiment of that dream. A one-off gathering of the most productive, effective and inspirational people you might ever meet. David has opened his rolodex and personally invited the people that inspired and helped him form, shape and distribute his body of work. They all said yes!

Roadmap

Moving to a world with no problems, only projects.

  1. Block 1: The art of getting things done.

Our productivity is directly proportional to our ability to relax. A deepdive into clearing your mind, organising your thoughts, achieving effective results and unleashing your creative potential.

  2. Block 2: The habits of high performers.

If I have seen a little further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants. Inspiring personal stories, anecdotes and performances of individuals who have defied norms and expectations.

  3. Lunch break

  4. Block 3: The strategic value of clear space.

A truly relaxed mind can be given the freedom to make a mess. Maximum freedom to generate and play around in creative chaos is the optimal condition for constructive thinking and work.

  5. Block 4: A world of projects not problems.

According to David Allen, people could really use a re-framing in approach to improve their world. Shifting from problem focus to project focus is key to both our personal and our global transformation.

  1. Block 1: How great leaders manage teams.

Leadership, what does it really mean? Let’s look past the buzzwords at the essence of what a ‘captain courageous’ really needs to do and be. Real stories from exceptional people who’ve walked the walk.

  2. Block 2: Designing collaborative workplace cultures.

What role does organisational culture play on the ability of teams to be productive? Unlock the secrets of methodologies like Holacracy and GTD practices that help run a systemically productive organisation.

  3. Lunch break

  4. Block 3: Supercharging your productivity with technology.

How to deal with and leverage ever-evolving technologies, apps and super tools without blowing your productivity fuses. A guide to choosing the tools, methods and materials that work for you.

  5. Block 4: In charge of anything and everything.

Final thoughts on the art of dealing with the stream of life's engagements, which itself is constantly evolving for all of us, at any age or station. Becoming a productivity master.

Article 53 & 54 of the EU VAT Directive include a specific guideline for (international) events, stating VAT must be charged in the country where the actual event takes place. This is different to what you’ll generally be used to in doing business within the EU.

Refunds need to be requested via the Eventbrite ticketing platform. If you have a valid (medical) emergency that prevents you from attending after April 1, please request a refund and we'll process on a case-by-case basis.

The people who have been most attracted to David Allen’s work and the GTD® methodology over the years, are often the people who need it the least! They are already, by all accounts, some of the most productive, pro-active and energetic people you would ever meet. Curiously, it's their own productivity and creativity that have put them up against their own internal limitations of cognitive space. They have a driving sense that they could do even more, even better, if they had more room.
