Mark is an author, speaker and educator. He has spent over 20 years teaching in the public school system. He currently works in a multi-age elementary classroom in the Minneapolis area. Over the past decade, he has established GTD as a classroom framework and coached GTD habits and behaviors to students as young as 6 years old. In 2015, Mark established Basecamp 16 LLC, a consulting agency whose focus is on equipping K-12 students and professional educators in both their educational and personal journey.
In the summer of 2017 Mark co-authored Getting Things Done for Teens with Mike Williams and David Allen. In the fall of 2018, he presented at TEDx where he spoke on Equipping the Next Generation to Conquer Overload and Distraction. His speaking and consulting experience includes a wide range of clients from students, teachers, parents, schools, administrative staff, churches, school districts and larger educational conferences. He holds firmly to the vision of establishing GTD as a common language and core educational experience for all students worldwide.

His mission is to fuse his "intentionally productive" methods with his client's knowledge and tools to make their work easier and create greater value.
In addition to consulting, speaking, and training, Eric has founded two successful start-ups in the productivity and communication space, designed the GTD-enabled productivity tools used and recommended by David Allen, served as David's chief technologist, earned a Master’s in Information and Knowledge Management, and homeschooled his four daughters in GTD. His research and experience have led him to develop his trademark value-creation framework, V=KMT, which he uses to help his clients to adapt what they know, the way they work, and the tools they use to create greater value.

Deb Smith-Hemphill owns and manages her own successful management consulting business in California. To date, she has inspired countless professionals on their road to executive readiness, organizational effectivity and team productivity.
As early as 1999, Deb wrote a book about using Internet to get more done in less time by optimizing new tools such as e-mail, search engines and… online reservations. It’s no wonder she has been able to grow her company to its current state with 6 offices working in 14 different countries.
She has been implementing GTD since discovering David’s method in 2000 and became an official licensed trainer in 2017, propelling this process of thinking in many business oriented workshops.
Author, speaker and musician
Marko Kassenaar is an author, speaker and musician. Combining these activities, he has a unique position in Amsterdam’s and The Netherlands’ art scene. He is the only specialist working for both the Royal Concertgebouw and the Rijksmuseum. In the latter, he regularly functions as a VIP host and speecher. Furthermore, he acts as an exclusive guide for high-end guests visiting The Netherlands.
Marko Kassenaar publishes on a wide variety of subjects in art and music history. He co-operated on ‘RIJKS, Masters of the Golden Age’, the spectacular book project by designer Marcel Wanders, on the paintings of the Dutch Masters from the 17th century. Why does my ticket include VAT?
Article 53 & 54 of the EU VAT Directive include a specific guideline for (international) events, stating VAT must be charged in the country where the actual event takes place. This is different to what you’ll generally be used to in doing business within the EU.

What is your ticket cancellation policy?
You can request a full refund on your ticket up until April 1, 2019. You'll always be able to change the name on your ticket to that of a colleague or friend up until the day of the GTD Summit. Refunds need to be requested via the Eventbrite ticketing platform. If you have a valid (medical) emergency that prevents you from attending after April 1, please request a refund and we'll process on a case-by-case basis.

What are the dates and times for the GTD® Summit?
The GTD® Summit will take place on June 20-21, 2019 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We open the doors for registration at 08.30 o’clock. The official Summit program starts at 10.00 and finishes at 18.00 o'clock (on Thursday and Friday). On Wednesday (19th of June) - Thursday (20th of June) and Friday (21st of June) you can expect various side-events around the city. These will be announced in March & April.
