Just added–featured guests Guy Kawasaki and James Fallows.
In March 2009, thought leaders, influencers and professionals will gather at the new InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco for the GTD Summit.
GTD (the paradigm-breaking methodology by David Allen) has become widely recognized as the best practice for managing information, tracking commitments and allocating resources. It has struck a nerve with corporations, non-profits and millions of users around the world and spawned an ecosystem of software developers, writers, bloggers and productivity tools.
The GTD Summit will be the gathering place of GTD adopters and innovative guests who are changing the way we work and live. You’ll hear ways to impact individuals, teams, and businesses.
At the GTD Summit you will experience thought-provoking and practical discussions, panels and presentations. David Allen will share content and thinking from his new book "Making It All Work - Winning at the Game of Work and Business of Life" (All participants will receive an autographed copy).
You’ll hear from Guy Kawasaki, a noted speaker, entrepreneur and author. Guy is also the founder of Alltop.com and Garage Technology Ventures and author of “The Art of the Start”.
Another renowned guest is James Fallows, an internationally respected journalist and author, who is currently based in Beijing as a National Correspondent for The Atlantic. Visit the speaker page regularly to see new guests as they are added.
Take this opportunity to come to the Summit and learn how to win at greater levels.
More will be shared in the coming weeks. We are still developing events on the schedule to meet participants' requests. See the schedule for a glimpse of the topics and share your ideas with us.

Excited about the summit!!
At the last moment, I registered for the GTD Summit in San Francisco because we all need a conceptual refresh in these topsy-turvy times. As David says, if you go to one event this year, this is the one.
I've used GTD for a decade now and while I'm no poster boy, have mastered the basics and taken it in my own directions. What GTD provides is a flexible systems thinking framework, with conceptual roots grounded in good management and good psychology.
David's next action principle has proven fundamental in my work as a strategic management consultant. My focus is activating strategic change teams, and this principle turns project management plans into personal commitments. I was pleased to present this GTD concept in my just-released book, STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT MADE SIMPLE: PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR LEADERS AND TEAMS (Wiley, 2009). I look forward to connecting with many interesting people at at this grand experience.

Productivity Tech session
I have been trying to capture all my todos electronically with my own program since January 2008. I have found it quite challenging both technically and organizationally to set up a system that is both easy to use and powerful enough to provide maximum benefits. I'm very interested in the Productivity Tech session. In an ideal world I would like to attend the whole summit but have time and money constraints. I would consider attending the Productivity Tech electronically, or watching a video of it later.

Internships available?
I just learned of this conference but didn't budget for it and I am newly self-employed. I am willing to do any kind of service to attend all or part of this conference. Regina Lark, Ph.D., www.aclearpath.net
I just finished reading GTD
I just finished reading GTD today and have completed the next action... Went out and bought the Brother's Labeling System at Costco.
Would love to attend the conference (especially since I live in the Bay Area), but unfortunately, the registration fee is beyond my budget.
Looking forward to purchasing and reading David's new book. The release date is on my calendar!
